What Should We Pack?
AnswerThe most important thing for the safety of you and your crew (and to prevent damage to the boat’s deck) is to wear non-slip flat, rubber-soled shoes. Obviously, what clothes you choose to pack is dependent on the time of year you are holidaying with us, but please remember that even in the height of summer it can get chilly on a night by the river. Clothes that do not restrict your mobility for getting on and off the boat are also recommended. The pace of a Norfolk Broads boating holiday is relaxed and most riverside pubs do not have a dress code, however, if you wish to visit local restaurants, or go into the city of Norwich you may like to bring along some smarter, evening clothes. The only things you really need to bring are personal items including bath towels and for the galley, washing up liquid, although we do supply free matches.
