Can I bring my Fishing Equipment?
Yes, Fishermen are very welcome.
(Please ensure that you obtain The Environment Agency Rod Licence, which will allow you to legally fish on the Broads. They can be obtained from the local Wroxham Post Office, which is a 10 minute walk from Summercraft or are available online.)

Note- Children under 12 Do NOT need a rod licence. ( However, if you take a child under 12 fishing and hold the rod or help hold it you must buy a licence for yourself.) You can be fined up to £2,500 for fishing without a rod licence.
The fishing season runs from 16th June to 14th March.
The well stocked local Tackle & Bait shop is a 10 minute walk away, located in station road.
For those staying in one of our waterside properties- A diesel engine day boat or a row dingy are available & ideal for fishing excursions.
Please Note- Photographic evidence will be required to back up all boasts of “Monster Fish” catches & “The One That Got Away” does not count!
